Have you ever been given something that you didn’t expect and didn’t deserve? That’s the story of the Elkhart Campus. We began meeting together in a movie theater, moved to the RV Hall of Fame, and found out the third time truly is the charm when we landed in a place no one expected. A ministry in the community for over 122 years, St. John’s United Church of Christ, shut their doors – but they left us the key. They didn’t really shut their doors. They still meet down the street. So you might say they could no longer support the facility, but didn’t want to see it sold and become a hardware store, so they left us the key. God was working behind the scenes, answering a prayer that hadn’t even been prayed yet.
