How did you first come to GCC? Why did you stay?
I came to GCC in 2001; I was invited by my aunt and uncle. I have stayed at GCC because I love the way we use the arts, and the mission and vision of the church.

What’s one of your proudest moments?
When one of my students passed his first spelling test after months of failing spelling tests; it was awesome! We tried numerous methods to help him and finally found one that worked. The look on his face when he saw his grade was one of the greatest things ever!

Your greatest indulgence?
Jeans from The Buckle—and sleeping in on Saturdays

What’s your biggest challenge?
Probably self-doubt…
